HOW LONG DO EYE LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Your initial set should last around 3 weeks before you will need a fill. They do take some getting use too, so they may fall out a little faster. Once you have gotten the hang of taking care of your lashes, you will need to come in for a fill every 3-4 weeks. If you get addicted to them looking perfect, which will most likely happen, we offer quickie 30 minute fills for people willing to come in every 1-2 weeks.

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. CAN I STILL GET lash EXTENSIONS?

We will do a patch test before we apply a full set. Patch test should be done for any brides or special occasions at least 2 weeks prior. If you do have a reaction, we can not apply them even with adhesive meant for sensitive eyes.

WHAT iS A LASH LIFT & HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

A lash lift is meant to curl lashes that tend to be straight or point downward. Your lashes are gently glued to a curved silicon rod, then the perming solution is applied to the base of the lash. This sits for typically 20-25 minutes. Most people fall asleep and wake up to gorgeous lifted lashes.

Lash lifts typically last 5-6 weeks depending on how much they're exposed to water. Some people come in once a month to really avoid using mascara.

Lets talk about wax baby

HOW LONG SHOULD MY HAIR BE BEFORE COMING IN FOR BODY WAXING?

It typically takes approximately 2 weeks worth of untouched growth. As a visual, think of the length of a natural eyelash or a grain of rice( because some are blessed with long lashes naturally). Don't feel the need to trim before your appointment, the longer the better.

WILL WAXING HURT?

Yes. It will get easier with time. I PROMISE. After your 3rd wax or so, it shouldn't be as bad since your hair follicles are changing. I also apply a numbing serum, walk you through deep breathing exercises and have lots to talk about to keep you occupied. If all else fails, just scream I don't mind.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME IN FOR WAXING AND THREADING?

Every 4 weeks. Please please please do not shave in between body waxing appointments. Our goal is to thin out your hairs and shaving will ruin all our hard work, causing it to grow back more course.

Same goes for threading and waxing. DON'T TOUCH! I'll be able to tell, trust me. We all get a little tweeze happy in our magnified mirrors, but if we are trying to grow them out or keep the shape, again DON'T TOUCH. Wear glasses, avoid mirrors, or simply embrace the grown out look. Just DON'T TOUCH THEM. Okay. I think you get it now.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WAXING AND THREADING?

Waxing is great for people who don't have sensitive skin. When wax is applied, it essentially takes off the very first layer of skin. It's not as scary as it may sound. If you aren't sure if you do, you would know after your first wax. You may break out or have bumps on the waxed area. If you are using any type of skin thinning product or medication such Accutane, Differen or Retin-A, you CAN NOT wax until you have stopped using them for 3-4 weeks. Doing so will cause the skin to tear, leaving nasty scabs and scars. If you can't wait the 3-4 weeks, lets try threading!

Threading is a non-abrasive way of removing hair using thread. You may be curious how it's done. I always show you the process before we begin your first session.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR AN AIRBRUSH TAN?

The night before your appointment, make sure you really exfoliate, especially on rough areas such as ankles and elbows. Doing so right before your appointment is not recommended. Do not apply any lotions or oils to your face or body prior to you appointment. This can cause the tan to not set properly. Also make sure you wear loose dark colored clothing to your appointment to avoid any odd markings or stains.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

7-12 days. It can be extended with the use of Lavish Tan mousse.

IS IT SAFE TO GET ONE IF I AM PREGNANT?

YES! The solution we use, Lavish Tan is all organic and brown sugar based which is prefect for fabulous expecting ladies.
