Erin Conley

Hey, I’m Erin the founder of The Beauty Coven!

At a very early age, I discovered the magical world of beauty—whether it was sneaking my nana’s bottle of Nair or waxing my BFF’s brows super thin in middle school (RIP to that trend, thank goodness). After years of hustling in the restaurant industry, I realized I wanted to serve people in a whole different way. That’s when I decided to take the leap and attend Spa Tech in Westbrook back in 2012.

From there, my love for beauty just kept growing. I started out at a big-name salon in Portland, but my dream of doing my own thing pushed me to open “Thread and Glow Beauty Bar.” After four years as a one-woman show and 13 years in this amazing industry, I’ve created my dream space—a place where I get to share my passion and hustle with a team of bad-ass ladies and the best clients ever.

For me, it’s all about building real relationships with everyone who walks through the door and giving them the best experience possible. I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into this little world I’ve built!

Hi, I’m Gretchen, an esthetician here at The Beauty Coven. My focus is on both relaxing and results-driven facial treatments. Having personally struggled with confidence in my skin, I’m passionate about helping you achieve your skin goals at a pace that works for you. I truly believe that taking time for yourself isn’t just a luxury – it’s a necessity. An hour of peace can make all the difference. Music is one of my greatest passions, so feel free to share your favorite tunes to set the perfect vibe in the treatment room. I’m thrilled to be part of The Beauty Coven, and I can’t wait to meet you and help you feel your best, whether that’s through skincare, lashes, brows, or anything in between.

Esthetican

My name is Mattaia, and I’m an esthetician at The Beauty Coven. Ever since I can remember I’ve always loved making people feel beautiful. Whether it be having my friends over for “facials” (making random face masks we found on Pinterest with who knows what from my kitchen cabinet), or doing my mom’s makeup for a night out. It’s always been a passion of mine, and through covid I was able to find a way back to it and decided I wanted to do this forever. I can’t wait to share my passion for this industry with everyone!

LICENSED MASSAGE THERIPIST

Hello, I’m Julia, Massage Therapist at The Coven! After being a stay at home mom for several years to my son & daughter, I received my 750hr training at The Wellness Massage Center & Institute in Shelburne, VT. Days after graduating in June 2023 my family relocated to Maine, and I proceeded to open a private practice in Windham that fall. My style is to incorporate detailed tendon work, stretches, and acupressure into massage to create a uniquely restorative and relaxing experience. Ambiance, quality of touch, and balance are key elements of my technique, and you will feel the difference. I am a trauma-informed practitioner with a BA in psychology and am continually seeking further knowledge in my field.
